Had a great day as a visiting author at the Biblioteca Publica (Public Library) Book Fair in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There were a great number of authors, writing in a very diverse selection of genres. Most interesting of all were those telling of their own experiences.
The readers who came to browse and buy were equally interesting. Some had relocated permanently to San Miguel from American and elsewhere in the world while others, like us, split their time between homes in the U.S. and the beautiful climate of Mexico's central highlands. There were even people just in San Miguel for a holiday looking for something to read. Best of all were two young Mexican ladies who were absolutely enthralled by Christina Kohl's coming-of-age saga in the No Man is Her Master series.
San Miguel is a wonderful place to visit and to live. The Biblioteca Publica is a must see place to go while you're there.
